Rehydrate food with warm water, Primal Bone Broth, or Primal Raw Goat Milk to ensure optimum nutrient absorption. We recommend one tablespoon of liquid for every nugget served. Use stainless steel bowls when feeding any product. Other materials, such as plastic & porcelain, are porous and can trap germs over time.
Ready to go all in? Simply start small and gradually increase the amount each day.
Try it as a topper to your dog’s current food to easily introduce the powerful benefits of raw nutrition.
Minimally processed recipes are highly digestible and better support a healthy gut compared to foods cooked at high heat.
Both dogs like them, I don't like to have to crumble them. My dogs have been eating Primal for almost 6 years. They are small Yorkies and have not had any health issues since. I recommend this food to everyone I know who has dogs… My dog looooves this food. We add goat milk on top and he is in heaven. And I loooooove the ingredients. Good food. Like I said, my dog loves it I've been feeding this to my 2 dogs for 7 years but may have to stop. The most recent orders in the new packaging are resulting in brick hard nuggets. My dogs are very small, and it is now very difficult to break them apart to hydrate. I go through 8 large bags a month, and so far, I've opened 3 and the beef is the absolute worst to break up. I've had to use scissors, and even then, they are really hard. Freeze-dried food is shelf-stable and should be stored in a cool, dry place. Once rehydrated, keep refrigerated and feed within 5 days for optimum freshness. 1 ounce = approx. 3 -4 nuggets Yes, you can feed Primal Pet Foods' Freeze-Dried Raw Nuggets dry. However, we recommend rehydrating them with warm water, bone broth, or raw goat milk. The amount of Freeze-Dried Raw Nuggets you should feed your dog varies depending on their weight, age, activity level, and individual metabolism. Consult our Feeding Calculator to determine the proper daily amount for your dog, or follow the general guidelines as found on our product packaging. Before rehydration: Store the freeze-dried nuggets in a cool, dry place. After rehydration: Refrigerate any unused portions and use them within five days to maintain freshness. To prepare our Freeze-Dried Raw Nuggets for your dog: 1. Crumble the desired number of nuggets into your dog's bowl. 2. Hydrate by adding warm water, Primal Bone Broth, or Primal Raw Goat Milk. We recommend one tablespoon of liquid per nugget. 3. Serve and enjoy!Freeze-Dried Raw Nuggets can be served as a full meal or used as a topper or mix-in with your dog’s current diet. Serve in stainless steel bowls, as materials like plastic and porcelain can harbor bacteria over time. Primal Pet Foods' Freeze-Dried Raw Nuggets Dog Food is crafted in the USA using raw meat from premium protein sources raised without steroids or added hormones. Yes, you can mix Freeze-Dried Raw Nuggets Dog Food with your dog’s kibble or other processed foods.
